The Big Bertha is the official rocket of NARAM56. It is in the NARAM56 logo.
Rules are simple, bring/build a decorated Big Bertha. Fly it during the week (special flight cards will come in the registration packet).
Thursday at GSS/CS viewing, turn it in. They will all be displayed (if they fit in the room).
Vern & Gleda will pick a few winners out of the pile and sign them and return them on Friday as trophies, others will be picked up after viewing.
One of the judges (Vern Estes) description of the motivation for the event:
"The photo above shows my original BB on the left, and one I built soon after
on the right (as member of the Astron Rocket Society). It is my opinion
that a Big Bertha should be decorated to suit the taste of the builder, not
the manufacturer."
