That orange ones my new Vidroc. The first time the kevlar "tied" itself around the shoot (which off course fell off once I picked it up) so it came in hard and kinked it a little. no real damage as its really light. Anyway the second I went to fly the RSO turned me down feeling the Spacing around the 24mm tube inside the 29mm tube was insufficient for safe recovery ejection. While he was wrong (its flew fine and ejected fine an hour earlier) the RSO is the last word on safety and there is no logical argument against that :-) His word is it. So I went back and built a new top half for the rocket using a larger tube. This ended up being fantastic. its bigger flies straighter and is more fun without adding much new mass. I am very pleased with the results. I missed the lift off of the new model I will get that tommorrow.

I absolutely love all these water/juice bottle conversion. They look fantastic were painted immaculantly and flew wonderfully. Especially the use of D12 and E9 motors which are soft and slow VERY photogenic motors !! I got some great shots of these models taking off. I will try to get some info on the modeller tommorrow.
