Page 01 - Imagination Celebration - Picnic - Manufacturers Forum - Contest Results

Today was B Super Rocket Altitude and 1/4A Helicopter

I did not get to many images of the competition flying (the models where either just too small and bland or I missed the good ones ie I was busy on the sport range when a few nice close landing helicopters went up :-(

Here are the pictures for today. REMEMBER at the bottom of the page is a LINK to the NEXT page. I was tired and did not put the links UP TOP like I have now. so to get to the contest results for yesterday you need to goto to each page (example from the auction page the next page is results so at the bottom of the auction page) I will update this when I get a chance.

A Duece Saucer (at least thats what I call it :-)

This is my Video Camera Rocket ! I have TWO Video cameras attached to this that nub on the top left is one camera looking down (here) and the other is on the end of that single large fin (Here)

A Saturn V Micro Maxx was launched and it landed right on the LCO table :-) (bottom right) the right picture is the second flight of my Vidtastic Rocket without the extra fin. The Down Video Cam can been seem on the top left (here) the second video camera simply looking out sideways is hidden from view on the other side of the rocket (here)

Vidtastic Recovery

Third Flight (all 3 flights on D12-3 hence why they did not go high) to right is an astrocam. The 2 Videos for this Third Flight are HERE and HERE

and H powered REDLINE Saucer Very nice ! and a 2 Stage Zenith

Flis Kits Crooked Redstone and a HP Bull Pup

Niced nearly nakid phoenix and a VERY cool looking blue thunder motor in the V2

NICE SHIPS !! to the right is a MICRO MAXX Condiment Cup rocket (from Jim Flis)

Setting up the pretty ships and a 3 E9 Hawk missle NICE flight.

I got the SST but just missed the Orbital Transport.

This Quaker Oats rocket is just too cool !

The Condiment Cup rocket again NOTE you can see the flame of a Micro Maxx motor !! I think the other is a Video Camera rocket I hope they send me the video :-)

Some Competition models and crew etc..

Bill Eichelberger had a nice 4mp camera with a 10x optical zoom !! I tried to help him out getting it setup right for rocketry. I still have not figured out how to LOCK the focus to infinite (thats why some are blurry the auto focus had a hard time every now and then) the camera is surprisingly fast (Fuji S5100 or something like that) no optical ViewFinder which is a big negative but it was still usable with its VERY short lag times once you prefocus.

Here are the pictures I shot with the camera while I was playing with it. Greg put up his gorgeous patriotic rocket again and this time I saw it but MISSED IT Thought it was an F20 nope it was an F50 much faster than I expected :-(

I will try again if he flies it again

Next the Imagination Celebration
