I used the video capture IN the digital camera for this (left camcorder at the tent) they are odds and ends shots. some of people. some pad cam shots some lift offs etc.. These are not divx. they are whatever proprietary AVI format the camera captures. in. Media Player plays them so I guess they are normal old AVI files. I really want stills but I know many like video so I am going to tripod the video camer at wide angle to get as much of the flight as possible while I capture stills. most of these models are too small to be "visible" in video after launch anyway. If it looks like it going to be a nice rekitting (sorry guys :-) I may put more effort into the video side of things. Friday night is the awards banquet. I will have the webcam going (wifi in the hotel is REALLY screwed up :-) that is why the videos did not work so great last night. spent hours trying to get them up and just gave up at about 0300 tried again this afternoon and they went. now I am having trouble getting tonights videos up. I had to use the cell phone to get the stills up (they were small enough) but my charger is broken so I am using the battery sparringly since I have no way to charge it till I get home. its also too slow to transfer 35meg of video !! 2 meg of pictures I can handle 35 of video requires the wifi so the links will be iffy at best until I manage to get them all online. this might also prevent the webcam from working right. we shall see. |
